Develop a Real-Time Chat Application with Node.js and Socket.IO

Project Desciption

We are a startup based in Miami, FL, looking for an experienced backend developer to build the core functionality for a real-time chat application. The primary stack will be Node.js, Express, and Socket.IO.

Key Requirements:

• User authentication and session management.
• One-on-one and group chat capabilities.
• Message persistence using a NoSQL database (MongoDB preferred).
• RESTful API for user and chat management.
• Clean, well-documented, and testable code.

Please provide examples of previous real-time applications you have built. Experience with AWS or another cloud provider is a plus.
